The board of county commissioners has determined that a need exists for creation of a fund to serve as the depository of the proceeds from a bicentennial nature trust grant secured by the Porter County Park Department for the deposit of proceeds from a bicentennial nature trust grant secured by the Porter County Park Department for land acquisition and preservation of environmentally significant property in Porter County, Indiana.
